Description

SMS inventories are based on WMI classes and objects. This information is natively present on every Windows platform since Windows 2000 and is more and more used by products. Through a direct query to the WMI of any of these systems you can find:

  • All hardware information from hard disk space to network data or user group membership
  • Operating system configuration such as patch level
  • Together with a valid SMS architecture, SMS Desk can provide any information from the inventories
